Gear Review: Kunetics Rash Guard

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while, but I got bogged down in other work, unfortunately, but I need to write about my love for this rash guard.

I’ve been whining for a while about not being able to find a rash guard that fits me properly. I posted on reddit, asking for some input, and Kunetics responded. They were totally awesome, and offered to send me a rash guard to wear.

I love this rash guard. The material is great and thick; the stitching is awesome quality. It feels like a legitimate rash guard, not something that is going to fall apart or unravel if I wear it too often.  If you’re a small girl, this rash guard actually fits.  Go figure!  It’s amazing to wear gear that actually works.

I know I stated my preference for long-sleeved rash guards (for no-gi training) but I really like this one. The design is clean and simple, but just different enough to be interesting (you can see a picture below).  I really like the bird and fish logo.

You can find Kunetics here on Facebook; I can’t recommend them enough. They’re making high-quality gear in small sizes, and I can’t complain about that. I also hear they do custom work, which would be really cool if your school needs a custom-designed rash guard.

Here’s a picture!  Sorry for the quality I just finished getting killed in competition class when this was taken :)

  1. Solid review. Will keep an eye on the company for my next belt change.

Also, that might be the tiniest picture ever. I even clicked on it to see if it’d expand. No dice.
